Sana'a: The Deputy Minister of Information, Dr. Omar Al-Bukhaiti, conducted a comprehensive review of the operations, strategies, and programming at Yemen Today TV channel. During his visit, he assessed the channel's role in promoting community initiatives and its alignment with the ministry's media policies.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Minister was accompanied by Mohammed Mansour, the Undersecretary for the External Relations and Media Sector, and Yahya Humayd, the Minister's Advisor for Radio and Television Affairs. They met with Mohammed Al-Umaysi, the Executive Director of Yemen Today TV, as well as the Head of News and other key officials from the channel.
The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the channel's contribution to community initiatives that support sustainable development. Dr. Al-Bukhaiti emphasized the importance of task distribution among media channels to ensure continuous activity and adherence to the ministry's media policy, which aims to unify media discourse during this critical period. He acknowledged the significant role of Yemen Today TV alongside other national channels in fostering awareness and development-oriented programs.
The Undersecretary for External Relations and Media highlighted the necessity of forming an operations room to keep up with ongoing developments and enhance coordination among media institutions. This coordination is crucial for effectively delivering media messages that reflect the Government of Change and Construction's efforts, especially in the realm of sustainable local development.
