Discussion of Aspects Related to Preservation of Public Funds

Hajjah: A meeting in Hajjah, chaired by the Head of the Prosecution, Judge Abdullah Al-Ahmar, discussed aspects related to the preservation of public funds.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included the Director of the Branch of the Central Organization for Control and Accounting, Qais Al-Qaisi, the team assigned by the Presidency of the Central Organization for Control and Accounting, and a number of deputies and members of the prosecution. They reviewed the status of 40 cases that were referred to the prosecution.

In the presence of representatives from service offices, legal representatives, and legal affairs departments, the meeting also examined cases that had been sent to court, discussing the difficulties and obstacles encountered.

The meeting underscored the importance of keeping the Central Organization informed of court-referred cases to ensure effective follow-up. It urged representatives of the competent authorities to diligently record all data and observations regarding charges in public funds cases, and to complete all necessary documents and reports to substantiate the criminal incidents, ensuring comprehensive preparation of the cases.

It highlighted the necessity for enhanced coordination between the Prosecution and the Central Organization for Control and Accounting in procedural matters. Regular meetings and training courses for prosecution members in financial and accounting aspects were also stressed, to be conducted at the Central Organization for Control and Accounting.
