Discussion on Agricultural Projects & Initiatives in Sa’ada

Sa'ada: The Executive Unit for Financing Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives in Sa'ada Province reviewed the progress of ongoing projects at a meeting chaired by Governor Mohammed Awad.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting discussed work on the Awyrah Dam, existing challenges, and ways to address them, as well as completing the furnishing of the College of Agriculture at Sa'ada University and implementing the approved mechanism for productive groups projects. It also addressed completing training programs for local cooperative associations.

Governor Awad called for intensified efforts to complete agricultural projects, promote the export of pomegranates during the current season, and overcome challenges that could affect production, quality, and prices. He emphasized the importance of strengthening agricultural and development efforts, supporting agricultural initiatives, and promoting teamwork to advance development in the province.

The unit's Executive Director reviewed ongoing projects and measures to address obstacles while emphasizing cooperative work and community initiatives in coordination with relevant authorities. The meeting concluded with several decisions aimed at enhancing agricultural, livestock, and development activities in Sa'ada.
