Doha: Palestinian analysts and experts have highlighted the upcoming emergency Arab-Islamic summit in Doha as a pivotal opportunity to coordinate a unified Arab response to recent Israeli aggressions. The summit, set to take place in Qatar's capital on Monday, aims to address the recent Israeli attacks that have targeted key Palestinian figures residing in Doha, as well as broader violations of international laws and state sovereignty.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Palestinian political analysts have emphasized the summit’s potential to consolidate a unified stance against Israeli encroachments on Arab sovereignty. The summit is anticipated to gain support from Arab nations, international bodies, and the United Nations to halt what has been described as genocide against the Gaza Strip, as well as counter projects of annexation and Judaization in the West Bank.

Dr. Samir Abu Madallala, a political analyst from Al-Azhar University in Gaza, stated that Arab and Islamic nations need to support Qatar in defending its sovereignty and reconsider their relations with Israel, which he describes as threatening due to its expansionist ambitions. He praised the roles of Qatar and Egypt in mediating between Palestinian resistance and Israeli forces, especially amidst ongoing conflicts in Gaza.

Abu Madallala criticized Israel's recent attack on Doha, highlighting it as evidence of Israel’s lack of interest in peace or truce agreements. He argued that Israel's actions aim to further its destructive agenda in Gaza, endangering the Palestinian population. He expressed hope that Qatar’s mediation could soon lead to a renewed ceasefire, which is crucial for maintaining Palestinian resilience and protecting the Gaza Strip.

Writer and analyst Mohammed Abu Qamar shared his expectation that the Doha summit will host crucial discussions on collective responses to Israeli aggression. He noted the urgency of the summit, given the ongoing Israeli attacks on Palestinian territories and Qatari sovereignty. Abu Qamar underscored that Israeli threats are expanding across the Arab region, fueled by ambitions for a "Greater Israel."

Abu Qamar acknowledged Qatar's persistent diplomatic efforts, which have previously led to truce agreements, but criticized Israel’s continued aggression. The recent attack on Qatari soil was viewed as an attempt to disrupt Qatari mediation and hinder peace efforts. He stressed the importance of the summit in forming a decisive stance against Israeli actions, essential for ending the conflict in Gaza and curbing settlement expansions in the West Bank.

Political researcher Ahmed Abu Zuhri highlighted the significance of hosting the summit in Doha, a city directly targeted by Israeli aggression. He emphasized that the high-level attendance from Gulf, Arab, and Islamic representatives sends a strong message of regional unity against Israeli threats. Abu Zuhri reiterated that the summit aims to strengthen diplomatic confrontations and prioritize ending the war on Gaza.

Abu Zuhri concluded that the summit in Doha serves as an essential platform for unified Arab action, transcending traditional solidarity and focusing on strategic responses to Israeli aggression in the region.
