Al-qanawis: A cultural evening was held in the Kadf al-Barqi area, Kshar al-Janubiyah isolate, in Al-Qanawis District, Al-Hodeida Governorate, to commemorate the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (Mawlid al-Nabawi) for the year 1448 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, District Director Mohammed Al-Qawzi emphasized the importance of commemorating the Mawlid in strengthening the connection to the Messenger of God (PBUH). He highlighted the significance of drawing inspiration from the Prophet's pure biography to enhance responsibility and awareness in facing challenges, and pointed to the implications of the occasion for the nation's current reality.
Al-Qawzi noted that celebrating the Mawlid reflects the status of the noble Prophet in the hearts of Yemenis. He explained that it embodies their steadfastness on the Prophet's path and their emulation of his morals and principles in confronting the Saudi enemy, countering its conspiracies, strengthening resilience, and building a cohesive society that draws its strength from the Holy Quran and prophetic guidance.
The evening was attended by key figures such as the Mobilization official Ibrahim Al-Mahdi, District Security Director Colonel Mohammed Qawza', the head of the educational sector Mohammed Zain, Rural Water Projects Director Zil'ei Dahmash, and several sheikhs and social figures. The event featured a poem and a chanting operetta, adding a cultural dimension to the commemoration.
