Events and Cultural Evenings Held in Raymah to Commemorate Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday

Raymah: A number of public events and cultural evenings were held across districts of Raymah Governorate on Thursday to mark the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth.

According to Yemen News Agency, in Al-Jabin District, the local authority and mobilization committee organized a public event in Al-Ribat area, attended by District Director Majed Amin, Mobilization Official Radwan Al-Hadidi, and social figures. Speakers highlighted the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birth and drawing lessons from his noble biography. They also called on residents to participate actively in the major celebration on Rabi' Al-Awwal 12, demonstrating the Yemeni people's love for the Prophet.

At an expanded gathering in Al-Jadus area of Al-Jabin, speakers called for broad and active participation in the central celebration marking the Prophet's birth on Rabi' Al-Awwal 12, while stressing national unity and general mobilization to confront the enemies of God, His Messenger, and the homeland.

In another event organized by the Bilad Al-Ta'am Agricultural Cooperative Association, speakers said the occasion comes as the Yemeni people are presenting important lessons to the Arab and Islamic nations through their humanitarian and religious commitment, including their support for Gaza and opposition to Israel and the United States.

In Bani Al-Mansour area of Kusmah District, speakers affirmed that on Rabi' Al-Awwal 12, the Yemeni people would demonstrate to the world that they are a people of faith and wisdom, as described by the Prophet, and that they would remain committed to these values despite challenges.

Kusmah also witnessed a public event in Al-Dhabarah and a cultural evening in Yaman area. Participants said Yemenis' commemoration of the Prophet's birth reflects their deep connection to Islam and the Prophet Muhammad.

In Al-Salfiyah District, two public events were held by the district's security department and in Bani Al-Wahidi area. Speakers stressed that love and loyalty to the Prophet should be demonstrated by following his biography and righteous path.

In Mazhar District, the local authority and mobilization committee held a meeting for local, mobilization, and community leaders, as well as a cultural evening in Bakal area. Participants called for continued activities marking the occasion, continued support for Gaza, and solidarity with the Palestinian cause. They also urged residents to participate widely in the central celebration on Rabi' Al-Awwal 12 in Al-Jabin, the governorate center.

At a cultural evening in Raymah area of Al-Ja'afariya District, participants said that celebrating the birth of the Prophet, the light and guide, is a genuine expression of Yemenis' love for the Messenger of God.

Meanwhile, sports activities marking the Prophet's birthday for 1448 AH concluded in Al-Salfiyah and Bilad Al-Ta'am districts. The events were organized by the two districts' youth and sports offices in celebration of the occasion.
