Marib: The districts of Marib province witnessed events, evenings, and preparatory seminars commemorating the anniversary of Yawm al-Wilayah (Day of Guardianship) for the year 1447 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, a cultural evening was held in Sarwah district, attended by the Governor of Marib, Ali Tuaiman, and the mobilization official, Badr Al-Majash. The speakers highlighted the importance of the occasion and its significance to the Yemeni people, focusing on their connection to Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
In Harib Al-Qaramish district, two evenings were organized in the sub-district of Bani Omar al-Sharqiya and the Hara area, accompanied by a cultural seminar in Shuja'. These events marked Ghadir Day as a moment to reflect on the values and principles set by the Greatest Messenger (peace be upon him and his family) and to uphold the meanings of guardianship (wilayah) rooted in truth, justice, and guidance.
A cultural seminar was conducted in Badbadah district, attended by the deputy governor of the province, Nasser Al-Shandaqi, and the deputy mobilization official, Hussein Abunab. The seminar emphasized the enduring connection of the Yemeni people to Imam Ali (peace be upon him), celebrating Ghadir Day across generations as a testament to their understanding of the faith-based and value-rich meanings of this anniversary.
Meanwhile, the residents of Mahliyah district celebrated Yawm al-Wilayah with a cultural evening featuring a group of scholars. The speeches underscored Ghadir Day as a significant event in Islamic history, reflecting the concept of guardianship (wilayah) as a measure to differentiate between faith and hypocrisy.
