Hajjah: An expanded meeting was held on Thursday at the center of Hajjah Governorate to mobilize preparations for celebrating the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him and his family) birthday. The meeting was chaired by Abdulrahman Al-Jama'i, Vice President of the House of Representatives and head of the Presidential Committee for Mobilization for the Prophet's Birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by Hajjah Governor Hilal Al-Sufi, Member of Parliament Dr. Ahmed Nassar, members of the Presidential Committee Ahmed Al-Sharafi and Yahya Al-Yousfi, Secretary-General of the Local Council Ismail Al-Muhaim, and Mobilization Officer Hamoud Al-Maghrabi. During the meeting, Al-Jama'i expressed pride in the participation of the governorate's people in celebrating this significant religious occasion in a dignified manner befitting the greatness and status of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family). He highlighted the enthusiasm and active involvement of the people of Hajjah and Yemen in honoring the Prophet at a time when many Arab and Islamic nations have distanced themselves from the last Prophet.
Presidential Committee member Al-Sharafi described the people of Hajjah as loyal supporters of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family), noting their commendable stances in media, culture, jihad, and sacrifices. He expressed pride in the participation of Hajjah residents in the Muhammadi Festival, celebrating joyfully and reverently the mercy and exemplary conduct brought by the Prophet in a governorate that has overcome difficulties and thwarted enemy schemes through the unity of its people as one cohesive entity supporting the wise revolutionary leadership.
Al-Sharafi stressed that everyone eagerly anticipates celebrating the Prophet's birthday, upholding the bestowed blessings, and honoring God's rituals, as He commands advising each other in truth and patience. He emphasized the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday to strengthen one's relationship with God, reinforce faith-based identity, and preserve social cohesion through unity and sincere devotion to the Messenger.
He also drew attention to the heartbreaking crimes taking place in Gaza, exposing global hypocrisy on human rights, and reviewed the positions of several Arab and Islamic countries that opened land passages for the Zionist enemy after imposing severe maritime and air blockades.
The Secretary-General of the local council noted that the governorate had begun early preparations for the Prophet's birthday, including organizing events, meetings, and activities, as well as decorating streets and government facilities. He highlighted that this year's celebrations would be unprecedented, thanks to God, the guidance of the revolution leader, Mr. Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the strong popular engagement reflecting the deep connection to the Prophet and adherence to his guidance.
The meeting, attended by deputy governors, heads of executive offices, and social and mobilization figures, also included a presentation by the province's Guidance Sector official, scholar Hussein Jahaf. He recounted the hardships faced by the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) in spreading the message in Quraysh over several years, the Yemenis' positive response to the Muhammadi message, and the conversion of thousands to Islam in a single day.
He explained that the Quraysh's rejection of the Prophet's call was due to arrogance and tyranny and stressed the importance of sincere devotion to God, the Prophet, his family, and the guides of truth.
