Hodeidah: Deputy Governor of Al-Hodeidah for Eastern Districts Affairs, Amer Muthanna, along with Al-Marawea District Director Abdullah Al-Marouni, inspected the designated site for a housing project for the descendants of Bilal affected by floods in the district. They were briefed by officials from the General Authority for Lands on the procedures for allocating the site and integrating the targeted families within the approved neighborhood units.
According to Yemen News Agency, the delegation toured the project area and reviewed the master plan, including locations for essential services. This initiative is in line with presidential directives to allocate housing units for 220 families within Neighborhood Unit No. 23, with funding from the General Authority for Zakat.
Muthanna highlighted the importance of the project as a humanitarian step to provide stability and housing for hundreds of families, acknowledging the support of the Zakat Authority and the efforts of the Lands Authority in finalizing the allocation. Al-Marouni noted that the initiative demonstrates the state's concern for the descendants of Bilal, particularly after they suffered flood damage.
Lands Authority officials confirmed that allocation and site preparation procedures are proceeding according to approved regulations to ensure the project achieves its humanitarian and social goals.
