Al-bayda: The Afar Customs Center in Al-Bayda Governorate, in cooperation with relevant authorities, successfully thwarted three separate smuggling attempts involving various prohibited goods, including medicines, cigarettes, and dietary supplements.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Director of the Center, Fahd Haza'a, revealed that customs officers uncovered two smuggling attempts on public transport buses. These attempts involved a variety of supplements, medical preparations, and medicines. The third seizure was related to a quantity of smuggled cigarettes.
Haza'a commended the alertness and dedication of the security forces and customs staff in detecting and seizing the contraband. He emphasized that the Center is committed to continuing its efforts to confront and combat all forms of smuggling activities.
