Sana'a: The funeral procession for martyr Ahmed Faris Abdul Latif Al-Sumaii was held on Monday in Al-Taiziyah District, Taiz Governorate. He was killed while carrying out his duty in defense of the homeland.
According to Yemen News Agency, local, military, and social figures attended the funeral, praising the martyr's virtues, his role in defending the country, its security, and stability. The mourners affirmed their commitment to following the path of the martyrs and making sacrifices in defense of the land, honor, and national sovereignty until the expulsion of invaders and occupiers from Yemen.
The martyr was laid to rest at Al-Sammad Cemetery in Al-Hawban, Al-Taiziyah District, after prayers were performed for him at the Mosque of the Companion Muadh bin Jabal in Al-Jand.
