Sana'a: Government spokesman and Deputy Minister of Information Dr. Omar Al-Bukhaiti affirmed that the Yemeni army is serious about imposing a maritime ban on shipping to Saudi Arabia.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Bukhaiti stated that the ban on maritime navigation to Saudi Arabia is a firm position from which there will be no retreat. He emphasized that this decision is a response to ongoing tensions and hostilities in the region.
In his statement, Al-Bukhaiti addressed the Saudi government directly, urging them to cease what he described as an "unjust blockade and aggression against Yemen." This marks a significant development in the ongoing conflict, as the Yemeni army's stance may further complicate maritime activities in the region.
