Hajjah Economy Office Conducts Field Inspection in Najrah District

Sana'a: The Hajjah Office of Economy, Industry and Investment conducted a field inspection on Monday in Najrah District to assess compliance with price regulations and product standards. Officials inspected meat vendors at Al-Aman Market to verify compliance with set prices and the display of price notices. They also checked legal weights, ensured that expired or spoiled goods were not being sold, and monitored bakeries' use of flour extracted at an 80 percent rate.

According to Yemen News Agency, the office stated that the inspection is part of a field campaign targeting several districts and major markets to strengthen oversight, protect consumers from manipulation, and prevent exploitation. The Najrah district director praised the campaign and stressed the importance of continuing such inspections to ensure traders comply with standards and regulations.
