Hajjah: Local authorities in Hajjah launched the implementation of value chains for 18 agricultural and livestock products across four model districts: Abs, Khayran al-Muharraq, Bakil al-Mir, and Bani Qais.
According to Yemen News Agency, the workshop was held under the supervision of relevant ministries to introduce the value chain plan aimed at boosting local production, reducing imports, and achieving self-sufficiency.
Officials emphasized the need for coordination between government entities, community members, and the private sector. They also called for strengthening cooperatives and enhancing both marketing and production capacities.
