Hajjah: A meeting was held in Hajjah Governorate, chaired by Attorney General Judge Abdulsalam al-Houthi, to discuss ways to expedite the resolution of cases and bring justice to citizens, particularly in cases involving detainees.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included the governor of the governorate, heads of prosecution offices, and security agencies. It focused on enhancing coordination between the judiciary and security services to ensure the speedy disposal of cases, address judicial control issues, and meet the prosecution's staffing needs.
The Attorney General stressed the need to redouble efforts and settle minor cases amicably whenever possible. He praised the cooperation of the security agencies and the speedy referral of cases that meet the legal requirements.
The governor affirmed the support of the local authorities to facilitate the work of the prosecution. The meeting also inspected the progress of work in the prosecution offices and discussed coordination with the courts to achieve justice and expedite the adjudication of criminal cases.
