Head of Judicial Inspection Authority Reviews New Zakat and Agriculture Courts in Sana’a

Sana'a: Head of the Judicial Inspection Authority Dr. Marwan al-Mahaqeri visited the newly established Zakat and Agriculture Courts in the capital Sana'a to review operations and case management. Al-Mahaqeri, alongside Judge Taha Aqbah, chairman of the Sana'a Court of Appeals, inspected the facilities and reviewed procedures related to file reception, session scheduling, and data management.

According to Yemen News Agency, al-Mahaqeri emphasized the importance of the courts in handling cases concerning zakat, agriculture, environment, and water, ensuring they align with Sharia and legal principles. He acknowledged the Ministry of Justice for establishing the courts and instructed them to commence operations immediately.

The establishment of these courts is intended to alleviate the workload on the Public Funds Court and improve the efficiency of case handling.
