Sana'a: First Deputy Governor of Sana'a Governorate, Hamid Asim, inspected today the progress of work at 'Awmarah Rural Hospital in Arhab Directorate. The Deputy and members of the Governorate's Field Monitoring Committee reviewed the level of medical services in specialized departments and outpatient clinics. They listened from the Hospital Director, Dr. Mohammed Al-Tahif, to an explanation about the achievements made during the past period and the efforts exerted in improving the level of health services provided to patients.

According to Yemen News Agency, the hospital is the main pillar for providing medical services, as it receives daily hundreds of cases from Arhab and Bani Al-Harith directorates and parts of directorates in Amran and Al-Jawf governorates. This influx has been especially prominent after the opening of the intensive care unit, which has significantly contributed to reducing referrals to hospitals in the Capital Secretariat.

Deputy Asim and committee members praised the level of performance and efforts made by the medical and administrative staff at the hospital. They indicated that the visit comes within the framework of keenness to identify the needs of health facilities and enhance their role in providing health services.

The officials affirmed the keenness of the governorate's leadership to support the hospital according to its plans to support the health sector in all directorates.
