Inspection of Preparations for Productive Families Exhibition, Festival in Sabeen, Bani Al-Harith, Sana’a City

Sana'a: The Head of the Social Affairs Committee and Deputy Head of the Development Team at the Capital Secretariat, Hamoud Al-Naqeeb, along with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Ghassan Al-Madani, conducted an inspection of the preparations for the inaugural Al-Sabeen Ramadan Exhibition for Productive Families. This event is being organized by the Al-Sabeen Multipurpose Cooperative Society.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Naqeeb and Al-Madani were joined by several key officials, including the Undersecretaries of the Secretariat for the Financial Sector, Mazen Numan, and for Agricultural Affairs, Mohammed Saree. Others present included Directors of the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit at the Secretariat, Abdullah Sharaf Al-Din, the Social Affairs and Labor Office, Nasser Al-Kahali, the Director of the Directorate, Mohammed Al-Washli, the Parks Director, Rami Al-Jundi, and the Head of the Agricultural Sector at the Secretariat, Mohammed Hajar. They reviewed the distribution of booths and the organization of spaces earmarked for participating families.

The officials were briefed on the work plan and coordination mechanisms between relevant authorities to ensure the success of the exhibition set to take place in the 26th of September Park in the Al-Zahrawi neighborhood. The exhibition, scheduled to open officially tomorrow, aims to support the economic empowerment of productive families and strengthen institutional partnerships in executing initiatives with a developmental impact, in collaboration with relevant authorities and involving official and development bodies.

In a related development, Hamad bin Rakan, Director of the Bani Al-Harith District, assessed the preparations for the "Eid Joy" festival for productive families, organized by the Bani Al-Harith Multipurpose Cooperative Society.

The festival, scheduled for the 17th to the 22nd of Ramadan in Al-Samad Park in the Daris area, is funded by the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit of the Secretariat and the General Authority for Small and Micro Enterprise Development. It is aimed at supporting the economic empowerment of productive families and enhancing institutional partnerships in implementing initiatives with significant developmental impact.

Rakan highlighted the festival's role in marketing local products and providing citizens with necessary items at competitive prices while promoting high-quality national products. This initiative is expected to encourage increased local production and support productive families. He acknowledged the presence of Dr. Sadiq Al-Jathmi, head of the Bani Al-Harith Cooperative Society, and commended the level of organization and preparations for the festival, as well as the society's efforts in organizing it. Rakan called on district and capital city residents to participate in the festival and contribute to its success.
