Amran: Massive rallies were held on Friday in Amran governorate, including the provincial center and various districts, to commemorate the Day of Al-Furqan and express solidarity with Iran and Lebanon in confronting what participants described as the U.S.-Israeli aggression.
According to Yemen News Agency, crowds raised pictures of the martyr Sayyed Ali Khamenei along with Yemeni, Iranian, and Lebanese flags, chanting slogans emphasizing Islamic unity, rejecting American and Zionist dominance, and expressing full solidarity with the Iranian and Lebanese peoples in their right to defend sovereignty, independence, and dignity.
Participants in the rallies-led by Governor Dr. Faisal Jaaman, General Mobilization Official Sajad Hamza, deputy governors, security and military leaders, and social figures-said the demonstrations reflected a popular stance rejecting aggression and supporting Iran and Lebanon in their battle against external targeting. They stressed that free peoples will not accept any attempt to deny their right to possess the means of strength and confront unjustified threats.
A statement issued by the Amran rallies said the mobilization stems from Islamic, moral, and ethical duty in pursuit of the dignity, success, and salvation of the nation, and as a form of striving in the path of Allah. It added that the rallies also commemorate the anniversary of the Battle of Badr-known as the Day of Al-Furqan-and reaffirm support for the Iranian people, readiness to face any developments, continued backing for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, and all free people of the nation.
The statement congratulated the Islamic nation on the anniversary of the Battle of Badr, describing it as an important milestone reminding that truth ultimately prevails over falsehood, regardless of the disparity in material capabilities.
It also renewed a pledge to remain steadfast on the path of struggle as commanded in the Holy Qur'an, expressing confidence in Allah's promise of victory.
The statement reaffirmed what was mentioned by the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, in his speech yesterday-that everyone is in a state of full readiness and that 'hands are on the trigger' regarding escalation and possible military action if developments require it.
It stressed standing alongside the Iranian people, their Islamic system, army, and Revolutionary Guard, as well as Hezbollah, praising what it described as their major achievements and strikes against Israeli targets and U.S. bases in the region, in addition to operations by the Iraqi resistance.
The statement also called on Arab and Islamic governments that host foreign bases to reconsider their positions and expel such forces, warning regional countries against being drawn into the conflict.
Finally, the rally's statement called on the peoples of the Islamic nation to raise awareness of the dangers facing the region and to take serious and effective action to confront them, relying on faith and confidence in divine support.
