Women’s Seminars in Sana’a City Commemorating Battle of Badr

General

Sana'a: The General Mobilization - Women's Authority in the Capital Governorate organized cultural and awareness seminars across all districts to commemorate the Battle of Badr, "The Day of Distinction," for the year 1447 AH.

According to Yemen News Agency, the seminars explored the religious and historical significance of the Battle of Badr, considered the first decisive battle between truth and falsehood, fought by the greatest leader humanity has ever known, the beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). In this battle, Allah's support for His believing servants was manifested, and His promise of victory for His patient servants was fulfilled.

The seminars addressed the circumstances surrounding the battle and the reasons for the divine victory despite the small number and limited resources, emphasizing that the victory was not dependent on material capabilities but rather a result of sincere faith, steadfastness, obedience, and complete reliance on Allah.

The seminars emphasized the necessity for the Muslim nation to return to the Holy Quran as a way of life, drawing inspiration from the lessons of Badr in patience, sacrifice, and trust in Allah's promise, and confronting the forces of arrogance with steadfastness and insight. They highlighted the importance of commemorating this great event to solidify Quranic awareness and strengthen the nation's faith-based identity.

They stressed that commemorating the Day of Al-Furqan is not merely recalling a historical event, but rather reviving the values that brought about that victory, and renewing the pledge to follow in the footsteps of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) in supporting truth and remaining steadfast in principle.
