Al-mahwit: Members of the House of Representatives Ammar Khamis and the Shura Council Saleh Murshid inspected today the progress of work on two community initiatives in the road sector in Al-Dhala' Al-A'la isolate, Shibam Kawkaban District, Al-Mahwit Governorate, supported by the Central Interventions Unit and the cooperative society in the district.
According to Yemen News Agency, Khamis, Murshid, along with District Director Nasser Qaboul and the head of the Shibam Kawkaban Society, Engineer Yahya Shayea, inspected the paving work on the "Abir Al-Shamati - Bayt Mufarreh" road project, which spans 100 meters, and the "Bayt Al-Hirah - Bayt Al-Mudhbahi" road project, measuring 50 meters.
Khamis and Murshid acknowledged the engagement of the residents of Al-Dhala' Al-A'la isolate in the execution of community service initiatives, particularly in the road sector, which plays a significant role in enhancing infrastructure, facilitating the movement of citizens, and improving service delivery across the isolate's areas.
They highlighted these initiatives as exemplary models of cooperation, solidarity, and community responsibility, showcasing the community's dedication to contributing actively to the enhancement of essential services.
Emphasizing the importance of strengthening partnerships between the community and official bodies, they called for directing available efforts and resources toward implementing priority projects, especially in the road sector, due to its crucial role in connecting areas and isolates and boosting economic and social activities.
The District Director acknowledged that community initiatives are an essential complement to the local authority's efforts in executing service projects, expressing appreciation for the residents' contributions to the completion of these road paving projects.
Meanwhile, the head of the Shibam Kawkaban Society noted that the implementation of road projects is a testament to the community's unity, affirming the Society's ongoing support for initiatives aimed at improving services and implementing development projects that cater to citizens' needs.
