Iranian Crude Oil Prices Rise in European and Mediterranean Markets

Muscat: Iranian crude oil prices in European and Mediterranean markets have witnessed a notable increase, registering growth of approximately 1.5 percent.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Iranian news agency Mehr reported on Saturday, citing data published by the analytical news website OilPrice.com, that the price of Iranian light crude delivered to the Sidi Kerir region rose by $1.25 to reach $87.30 per barrel. This oil was traded at $86.05 in Northwest Europe and $85.40 in the Mediterranean region.

The Iranian heavy crude sector is also experiencing a significant increase, with the price of this type of oil announced at $85.15 for delivery to Sidi Kerir, $84.15 in Northwest Europe, and $83.25 in the Mediterranean, an increase of $1.25 from the previous day.

Other Iranian oil products, such as Forouzan blend, traded at $84.40 in Northwest Europe and $83.50 in the Mediterranean, while Soroush crude reached $80.25 in the Mediterranean market, a 1.58% increase.

These figures indicate continued positive sentiment in global oil markets, which saw the same $1.25 increase compared to the previous day.
