Taiz:The Ittihad Qatwa team emerged victorious in the Martyr's League 1448 AH, held in Sharab Al-Rawna District, Taiz Governorate. The team secured the championship title by defeating the Al-Aswad team with an impressive 5-1 score in the final match, which witnessed significant crowd attendance.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Ittihad Qatwa's victory followed a distinguished performance in the final match. The league featured the participation of eight sports teams and was part of the sports activities organized to commemorate the annual anniversary of the Martyr.
The post-match ceremony saw Ittihad Qatwa being honored with the tournament cup and gold medals. The Al-Aswad team received recognition for their second-place finish. Additional honors were awarded to the league's top scorer, best player, best goalkeeper, and ideal player, acknowledging their exceptional technical skills throughout the tournament.
