Sana’a: A tribal gathering and cultural event were held on Sunday in Khowlan District, Sana’a Governorate, under the slogan ‘In Loyalty to the Blood of the Martyrs, and Continuing the General Mobilization,’ as part of the annual Martyrs’ commemoration activities. Participants at the gathering in Al-Aroosh Market and the event in Bani Shaddad emphasized their readiness for the next round of conflict with the Zionist enemy.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants called for care and honor for the families of the martyrs, continued mobilization efforts, and steadfastness in confronting aggression until victory is achieved and the homeland is cleansed of invaders and aggressors. They pledged to follow in the footsteps of the martyrs in defending the land, honor, and national sovereignty, and in supporting the causes of the nation, with a focus on the Palestinian cause.
The gathering and event featured expressive poems and performances. Additionally, the Deputy Governor for Education and Youth, Talib Dahhan, along with District Director Ra’ad Al-Jamali, inaugurated a Martyrs’ Photo Exhibition in Al-Aroosh Market. Meanwhile, the district’s Mobilization Official, Nabil Al-Shathabi, inaugurated a similar exhibition in Bani Shaddad, attended by District Security Director Colonel Bakil Hafiz.
At the opening, Deputy Dahhan and Director Al-Jamali praised the sacrifices of Khowlan’s people, describing them as a badge of honor for all residents of the governorate. They commended the organizers for displaying photos that highlight the martyrs’ heroism and sacrifices for the homeland, noting that the blood of the martyrs has led to victories and steadfastness against aggression.
Mobilization Official Al-Shathabi also praised the preparation and organization of the exhibitions, which included images of the district’s martyrs and state leaders who gave their lives for God, the defense of the homeland, and its security and stability. Visitors to the exhibitions considered the annual Martyrs’ commemoration an opportunity to draw inspiration from the values of loyalty and steadfastness, and to learn lessons from the sacrifices made against invaders and occupiers.
