Launch of Third Phase to Simplify Procedures in Public Service Units

Sana'a: The national team for simplifying procedures and enhancing service quality at the Ministry of Civil Service has initiated the third phase of field visits. These visits by technical teams are focused on monitoring the implementation of development matrices in 21 priority public service units.

According to Yemen News Agency, the field visits aim to evaluate the execution level of development proposals crafted by the national team. These proposals are based on recommendations derived from inspection and evaluation reports of service provision centers and mechanisms.

The first team, led by Dr. Yahya Al Marani, head of the Prevention Department at the Supreme National Anti-Corruption Authority and a member of the national team, engaged with the Service Development Team and the Technical Team at the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Investment. Dr. Al Marani emphasized the necessity to expedite the implementation of the development and simplification matrix proposals, highlighting the importance of services provided by the Ministry and their impact on citizens and the national economy.

In parallel, the second team, directed by Qais Al Reda'i, a representative of the Central Organization for Control and Auditing and a national team member, convened with Abdullah Al Atifi, Executive Director of the Yemeni Authority for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control. The discussion focused on the matrix of recommendations for simplifying procedures and improving services. Al Atifi expressed the authority's commitment to enhancing electronic services, while Al Reda'i assured continued technical support for service development and electronic service rollout.

The third team, under Dr. Mohammed Al Shamiri from the Prime Minister's Office, reviewed the implementation of development proposal matrices with Abdullah Al Sharif, Deputy Head of the Authority. The team also visited a public service center to assess service delivery mechanisms.
