Sana'a: Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi on Thursday extended his congratulations and blessings on the occasion of Eid al-Adha to the pilgrims to the Sacred House of God, to the Yemeni people, and to their Mujahideen stationed on all fronts, units, military and security formations, in the armed forces, and all official bodies, and to the entire Islamic Ummah, first and foremost the oppressed Palestinian people and their dear Mujahideen.
According to Yemen News Agency, Sayyed al-Houthi's message emphasized the significance of Eid al-Adha amid the ongoing struggles faced by the Palestinian people. He highlighted the unprecedented tragedy resulting from genocide, starvation, and various brutal crimes committed by the Israeli enemy in the Gaza Strip, in partnership with the United States and with the inaction of Arab and Islamic nations.
Sayyed al-Houthi criticized the lack of response from Muslim-majority countries regarding the atrocities faced by Palestinians, urging them to fulfill their religious and moral responsibilities. He expressed concern over the neglect of the Palestinian cause, particularly the danger posed to the Noble Al-Aqsa Mosque, which faces daily violations and desecration.
He also drew attention to the various forms of violence and oppression experienced by Palestinians in the West Bank, including killings, kidnappings, and destruction of property. Sayyed al-Houthi condemned the continued displacement of Palestinians and the expansion of Israeli settlements, which disregard international agreements and decisions.
Sayyed al-Houthi called for a mobilization and sincere stance from the Islamic nation, warning of divine wrath and punishment if action is not taken. He emphasized the need for the Islamic nation to return to the teachings of the Holy Quran to regain dignity, pride, and liberation from tyranny.
He urged Muslims to use the occasion of Eid al-Adha to reinforce bonds of love, solidarity, and cooperation, and to support the oppressed Palestinian people. He called for gatherings of solidarity after Eid prayers and encouraged acts of charity towards the poor and deprived.
Sayyed al-Houthi concluded by praying for the well-being of the Islamic nation, the release of prisoners, the healing of the wounded, and the victory and relief for the Palestinian people and their Mujahideen.
