Al-thawrah district: Al-Thawrah district in the Capital Sana'a on Tuesday hosted a mass wedding ceremony for 23 grooms, marking the first such initiative organized in the district.
According to Yemen News Agency, the ceremony was attended by Capital Sana'a Mayor Hammoud Ubad, Member of Parliament Mohammed al-Touqi, First Undersecretary Khaleda al-Madani, along with several local officials, including District Director Aqeel al-Saqqaf and Mobilization Official Saddam al-Hababi.
Officials congratulated the grooms and praised the efforts behind organizing the event, highlighting its role in supporting young people and easing the financial burden of marriage. Ubad and al-Madani commended the initiative as a reflection of social solidarity and cooperation, emphasizing its importance in facilitating marriage and strengthening community cohesion.
The event, attended by local leaders and community figures, also featured traditional cultural performances celebrating Yemeni heritage.
