Massive Marches in Lahij’s Al-Qubaita Commemorate International Quds Day

General

Lahij: The Al-Qubaita District in Lahij Governorate witnessed on Friday three mass marches in celebration of International Quds Day, emphasizing the centrality of the Palestinian cause in the conscience of the Ummah.

According to Yemen News Agency, crowds gathered in Al-Shahid Al-Samad Square in Al-Hajr, Al-Aqsa Square in Dhumran, and Al-Nasr Square in Al-Kaabin, raising flags and banners expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people as well as brothers in Iran and Lebanon. Participants chanted slogans affirming that the Yemeni people stand with the free nations of the Ummah against the Zionist-American enemy.

The people of Al-Qubaita announced full readiness and a general mobilization to confront any aggressive escalation targeting Yemen, renewing their pledge to the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badruddin Al-Houthi, to maintain a principled stance and authorize him to take any necessary measures to confront the US-Zionist aggression and support the Palestinian people and all oppressed nations in the region.

They stressed that International Quds Day serves as an occasion to raise awareness among the Islamic Ummah about its central cause, keeping the Palestinian issue present in the minds and priorities of Muslims.

They noted that the participation of Yemenis in these marches on Quds Day reflects the steadfast faith and principled position of the Yemeni people in supporting the Palestinian cause, demonstrating sincere religious allegiance and commitment to Islamic holy sites.

A statement issued by the marches emphasized that commemorating this day, declared by Imam Khomeini on the last Friday of Ramadan, comes this year at a sensitive and exceptional stage in the struggle against the tyranny of 'global Zionism' and its arms represented by America, Israel, and their followers among the disbelieving Western regimes and their regional instruments.

The statement highlighted that this occasion coincides with a brutal US-Israeli aggression targeting brothers in the Islamic Republic of Iran, an attack that affects the entire Islamic Ummah under the project of 'Greater Israel,' which threatens the region, in addition to ongoing crimes committed by the enemy in Gaza and the West Bank, violations of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and incursions into Lebanese and Syrian lands.

It explained that observing Quds Day is part of the jihadist movement, seeking Allah's pleasure in these blessed days, and a testament to adherence to the Quranic methodology, jihad, loyalty to Allah and His Messenger, allegiance to the heirs of the Book and religious leaders.

The statement renewed the pledge to practically respond to God according to His great path, affirming that the Yemeni people will not abandon jihad or the raising of Islam's banner until Allah's religion prevails, justice spreads, and His mercy encompasses the earth. They will not forsake Al-Aqsa Mosque, Palestine and its oppressed people, or all the weak oppressed around the world at the hands of the followers of Satan.

It affirmed that Yemenis will not retreat from confronting global Zionism and its arms in all fields of struggle until Allah's inevitable promise is fulfilled, His light prevails, His religion spreads, His mercy extends, and His great Book dominates.

The statement also renewed solidarity with brothers in Iran and Lebanon, who have shown unyielding determination and steadfastness, bringing the enemy back to square one and plunging it into a vortex of uncertain fate. It highlighted the same stance with the heroic mujahideen in Iraq, who fulfill their duty of jihad and confront the American occupiers in their countries and the region as a legitimate right and self-defense for themselves and their Ummah.

Finally, the statement called on the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations to take action and assume responsibility by returning to the Quran as a practical project that diagnoses the problem and precisely identifies friend and foe.
