Meeting Examines Future Prospects of Shibam Real Estate Development Corporation

Sana'a: A meeting chaired by the Acting Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment, Sam Al-Bashiri, focused on the current situation of the General Holding Corporation for Real Estate Development and Investment, known as "Shibam". The discussions revolved around evaluating the corporation's status and exploring strategies for overcoming challenges.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Minister of Economy for Policies, Studies and Planning Sector, Fuad Al-Junaid, and a member of Shibam Corporation's Board of Directors, Abdullah Numan, were present at the meeting. They reviewed a detailed technical and financial report that assessed the corporation's current standing and considered proposals aimed at resolving existing obstacles. The meeting also deliberated on plans to propel the corporation forward.

During the session, Al-Bashiri underscored the necessity of preserving and optimally utilizing the company's assets. He highlighted the importance of developing revenues through a strategic work mechanism that addresses existing shortcomings. This mechanism aims to enhance performance in operation, marketing, and investment, while boosting the efficiency of resource development and utilization.

Al-Bashiri also emphasized the importance of creating an executive work matrix with structured plans and programs. These initiatives are intended to prioritize actions that will enable Shibam Corporation to regain its momentum and fulfill its pivotal role in the real estate development sector.
