Meteorology Forecasts Rain of Varying Intensity Across Governorates

Sana'a: The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast scattered thunderstorms of varying intensity across several governorates over the next 24 hours.

According to Yemen News Agency, the center's weather bulletin indicates that thunderstorms of varying intensity are expected across parts of the governorates of Saada, Hajjah, Amran, Mahwit, Dhamar, Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, Dhale'a, and Lahj, as well as parts of the Tihama Plain and the western coasts.

Scattered rain, sometimes accompanied by thunder, is also expected across parts of the governorates of Sana'a, Bayda, Abyan, Shabwah, Hadramaut, and parts of the southern and eastern coasts.

The center warned citizens against thunderstorms, crossing or being in floodwaters during and after rainfall, soil erosion and rockfalls, and reduced horizontal visibility on roads and mountain slopes due to low clouds or fog.

He advised taking the necessary preventive measures against thunderstorms and staying away from unstable slopes.
