Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted varying and scattered rainfall across several governorates over the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the center's weather bulletin indicates that thunderstorms of varying intensity are expected in the governorates of Saada, Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Amran, Sana'a, Raymah, Dhamar, Ibb, Al Dhale'a, Al Bayda, and Taiz.
Scattered rainfall, occasionally accompanied by thunder, is also likely to occur in parts of the Tihama Plain, western Al Jawf, southern Marib, and the highlands of Lahj and Abyan. The center has issued warnings to citizens about the potential for flash floods in ravines and valleys, advising against crossing these areas during and after rainfall. It has also cautioned against the risk of thunderstorms, recommending people avoid being near electric poles and tall trees.
The center further warned of possible rockfalls, mudslides, and reduced horizontal visibility on roads and mountain slopes due to rainfall and fog formation. Residents are advised to exercise caution and remain informed about the weather conditions.
