Sana'a: The Ministry of Civil Service and Administrative Development announced to all employees of the state administrative apparatus and the public and mixed sectors that next Saturday, the 15th of Dhu al-Qi'dah, corresponding to May 2nd, will be an official holiday for International Workers' Day, in lieu of Friday, May 1st.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry explained in a statement that this decision is based on Law No. (2) of 2000, Article No. (3), Paragraph (7), concerning official holidays and vacations.

On this occasion, the Ministries of Civil Service and Administrative Development and Information extended their warmest congratulations and best wishes to the Leader of the Revolution, the President and members of the Supreme Political Council, the Acting Prime Minister, the members of the Government of Change and Construction, all state and private sector employees, the people of Yemen, and members of the armed forces and security forces stationed in positions of honor and heroism.
