Hodeidah: Agriculture Minister Radhwan Al-Ruba'i and Hodeidah Governor Abdullah Atifi visited the Jameesha Agricultural Nursery in Kilo 16 to review its operations. They were briefed on the production plan, which has yielded one million diverse seedlings in recent periods.
According to Yemen News Agency, Minister Al-Ruba'i praised the nursery's performance in enhancing vegetation cover and food security. He emphasized the ministry's commitment to developing state nurseries and expanding their output to combat desertification and water scarcity.
Governor Atifi affirmed local authorities' support in overcoming challenges and developing the nursery as a key pillar for afforestation and agricultural development plans. The visit was attended by specialists, including the governor's afforestation advisor and the head of Tihama Development Authority.
