Ministry of Electricity, Water Launches Digital Platform for 2026 Renewable Energy Conference

Sana'a: Today, the Ministry of Electricity, Energy, and Water launched the digital platform for the 4th Renewable Energy Conference and Exhibition 2026, scheduled to be held this coming October in the capital, Sana'a. This development marks a significant step in the preparation for the event, which aims to showcase advancements in renewable energy.

According to Yemen News Agency, the launch took place during a meeting chaired by the Deputy Minister of Electricity, Energy, and Water, Adel Bader, who also heads the Supreme Supervisory Committee for the Conference and Exhibition. The meeting was attended by key figures including Mohammed Salah, Deputy Head of the Chamber of Commerce in the Capital Secretariat, and Engineer Ahmed Al-Mutawakkil, Undersecretary of the Electricity Sector at the Ministry, among others.

Discussions during the meeting focused on the steps and arrangements for the conference and exhibition, with emphasis on finalizing plans, establishing budgets, and setting timeframes. The agenda included the conference program, implementation plans for scientific events, interactive discussion panels, and the marketing program. The digital platform's role in building a database for research and scientific papers was highlighted as a critical component for the conference's success.

Deputy Minister Adel Bader emphasized the conference's significance as a national and strategic platform aimed at leveraging the latest technologies and innovations in renewable energy. The event seeks to enhance the government's strategic move towards clean and sustainable energy solutions, offering investment opportunities and projects to investors and specialized companies.
