Jerusalem: The remarks made by war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu, wanted by the International Criminal Court, did not reveal anything new about his adherence to the vision of a 'Greater Israel.' Since its inception, the leaders of the Zionist entity have been closely tied to what they perceive as the notion of a 'Torah-based state.' This state is rooted in religious myths upon which the Zionist entity was established, most notably the myth of the 'Promised Land,' which is traditionally linked to the idea of 'Greater Israel.'
According to Yemen News Agency, Netanyahu has reaffirmed his absolute alignment with a religious-Zionist vision, reinforcing a well-established reality: Israeli politics-regardless of attempts to dilute its extremism and polish it with a secular brush-remain firmly founded upon the Torah myth that gave birth to the Zionist entity. That myth continues to govern not only the extreme right-wing but also many of the leadership circles across the occupying entity.
Netanyahu's remarks simply confirm what is already believed and practiced by the entity's leadership. As The Times of Israel reported, Netanyahu views himself on a 'historic and spiritual mission'-a mission embraced by all prime ministers of the entity, each in his own manner. Their occasional candid statements often come as a shock to some of the defenders of this entity.
Netanyahu's adherence to the 'Greater Israel' vision exposes his expansionist ambitions: he believes the Zionist entity will extend over the entirety of historic Palestine, swallowing lands from Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and beyond, until achieving the Zionist dream 'from river to river,' symbolized in the design of the Israeli flag and reflected in much of its official state iconography.
His words are nothing more than a renewal of established Zionist beliefs about the Torah state. Yet, the Arab memory remains fragile in its confrontation with the enemy. Despite the flood of such declarations by Zionist leaders, some Arab regimes continue, regrettably, to insist on 'disarming the resistance,' including the so-called Palestinian National Authority.
In this context, the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, said in his speech today: 'Netanyahu's statements are an insult to the entire Ummah. The Zionists are moving according to their project, rooted in their culture and politics.' He added: 'The American and Israeli stance on the 'Greater Israel' project is clear.' He continued: 'There is not a single Arab leader who dares respond to Netanyahu's statements, even though they target the entire Ummah.'
Palestinian resistance factions firmly rejected the statements, exposing their deeper implications beyond what international condemnations mentioned. The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said these statements clearly underscore the grave danger this fascist entity poses to all the peoples and states of the region, through expansionist schemes that spare no one. Hamas added: 'War criminal Netanyahu's insistence that he is on a 'historic and spiritual mission' to realize this satanic and criminal vision is a manifestation of the madness and delirium driving his conduct and that of the extremist clique in power. They are committing genocide and starvation crimes against our people in Gaza while seeking to broaden their aggression against the region's states.'
The Palestinian Ahrar Movement said: 'The statements of the war criminal Netanyahu, wanted by the International Criminal Court, regarding the dream of so-called 'Greater Israel,' are a slap in the face demanding an awakening among Arab regimes and a deep reconsideration of this entity's ambitions and its fascist leadership-along with a review of peace agreements signed with it.' The movement affirmed: 'This satanic project reflects premeditated intent. What is happening in Gaza-from genocide and ethnic cleansing to forced displacement-is not a mere reaction but part of a larger scheme rooted in the prophecies and delusions of extremist Zionists to seize and settle on Arab lands.'
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) said: 'Netanyahu's statements blatantly expose the malicious expansionist ambitions of the Zionist entity-ambitions that have extended for decades, targeting Palestine and all surrounding Arab countries.' The PFLP considered the statements 'part of a systematic plan to dominate Arab lands and control their resources, posing a direct threat to Arab national security and the stability of the region.'
The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement also considered the statements of the war criminal as 'reflecting the expansionist Zionist mentality that targets the entire Arab nation.' It stated that Netanyahu's brazen statements reaffirm that the Israeli entity is a real threat to the existence and unity of the Arab and Islamic nations, and that silence in the face of Zionist crimes and audacity encourages them to continue their aggressive expansionist plans.
Regional entities condemned the statements, considering them a blatant violation of international law, the United Nations Charter, and, above all, a threat to collective Arab national security. The Organization of Islamic Cooperation affirmed that 'these aggressive statements aim to evade Israel's international obligations as an occupying power and to continue violating the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.' It called on the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to assume its responsibilities in confronting these aggressive policies and to take decisive measures to stop the Israeli aggression and end the illegal occupation of Palestinian lands.
Arab and Islamic countries also condemned the statements, which constitute a direct threat to regional security and stability. The Government of Change and Construction in the Republic of Yemen called on 'Arab and Islamic peoples and states, and all free peoples of the world, to unite efforts to confront the predatory Zionist expansionist project, which poses an existential threat to the entire nation.'
Jordan condemned the statements of the Israeli Prime Minister, considering them 'a dangerous provocative escalation, a threat to state sovereignty, and a violation of international law and the UN Charter,' affirming 'the Kingdom's absolute rejection of these inciting statements.' It stressed that 'these absurd illusions reflected in the statements of Israeli officials will not affect Jordan or Arab countries and will not undermine the legitimate and inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.'
The Islamic Republic of Iran stressed the "necessity of taking decisive international action to deter the fascist ambitions of the Zionist entity." The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered Netanyahu's statements as "a clear declaration of the occupying entity's intention to continue aggression against the territories of independent states, including Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria, viewing it as a blatant example of violating the United Nations Charter and international law."
