Taiz: Several executive offices and institutions in Taiz Governorate organized an oratorical event Sunday to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birthday under the slogan, 'At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was organized by the Office of Economy, Industry, and Investment, along with branches of the Yemen Oil Company, the General Authority for Standards and Metrology, the Yemen Gas Company, the General Investment Authority, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Riyadh Al-Bakheiti, Director of the Standards and Metrology Authority branch, emphasized the Yemeni people's keen interest in celebrating this religious occasion out of love and reverence for the Prophet.
He noted that reverence for the Prophet is deeply rooted in the hearts of Yemenis, passed down through generations since the era of Aws and Khazraj, and will continue until the Day of Judgment. He also highlighted the honorable stance of the Yemeni people in supporting Gaza, reflecting their deep connection to the Prophet.
In a speech delivered by Manwar Wajih Al-Din from the Office of Economy, he stressed that the nation is approaching a significant occasion-the Prophet's birthday-which holds great importance for Muslims. He underscored the occasion as a moment full of lessons and reminders, renewing allegiance and devotion to the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family), noting that the celebration serves to unite the nation in love for the Prophet and his family.
Abdul Rahman Hassan, speaking on behalf of the scholars, described the Prophet's birth as a monumental event in human history, marking the advent of light that guided humanity from misguidance to truth, justice, and guidance. He urged everyone to hold firmly to the rope of Allah and uphold religious duties to improve the conditions of the nation and its people in all aspects of life.
