Sana'a: The General Directorate of Sanitation, the General Directorate of Vehicles, and the General Syndicate of Municipal Workers in Sana'a City organized a speech and cultural evening to celebrate the Prophet's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). During the evening, the First Deputy Governor, Khaled Al-Madani, emphasized the importance of celebrating this great occasion to draw lessons and inspiration from the Prophet's noble life and embody them in daily life, especially the spirit of striving in the path of Allah, responsibility, and fulfilling the trust placed upon the nation.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Madani pointed to the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday, emphasizing the importance of remembering his life and following his example. He explained that every year, the Prophet's birthday is a time for spiritual renewal, refinement, and purification, aligning with the most perfect and ideal model to achieve success and prosperity in this life and the hereafter.

Al-Madani stated that those who criticize the celebration of the Prophet's birthday aim to divert the nation from its true path, distancing it from its Prophet and role model, and associating it instead with other figures who have no connection to Islam. He urged sanitation workers to redouble their efforts and improve services during the Prophet's birthday celebrations to present the capital in a manner befitting the grandeur of the occasion and the revered figure in the hearts and minds of Yemenis.

Al-Madani stressed the need to make the commemoration of the Prophet's birth an incentive to emulate the noble Prophet in all his actions, morals, values, struggle, steadfastness, and patience, and urged the nation to revive the spirit of jihad and bring it out of the weakness, humiliation, disgrace, and defeat that it suffered because of its negligence and abandonment of the banner of jihad, the source of its pride and the source of its strength.

At the event, which was attended by the Head of the Social Affairs Committee of the Sana'a Municipality, Hamoud Al-Naqeeb, the Undersecretary for Financial Affairs, Mazen Noman, and the Assistant Undersecretary, Naji Al-Qousi, the Director General of the Sanitation Project at the Municipality, Ibrahim Al-Sarabi, emphasized the importance of celebrating the Prophet's birthday to renew loyalty and love for the noble Prophet and to strengthen faith within the community.

He affirmed that celebrating the Prophet's birthday is a great occasion rich with important lessons and wisdom that the nation needs today and from which all of humanity can benefit in rectifying its situation, reforming its reality, and confronting dangers after the exacerbation of its problems by the forces of tyranny and arrogance that spread corruption, injustice, and oppression on earth.

He praised the Yemeni people's keenness to commemorate this anniversary to express their joy at the birth of the best of creation, to demonstrate their connection to him as a leader and inspiration for the nation, to exalt his status, and to offer thanks and gratitude to Allah Almighty for the blessing of guidance.
