Sana'a: The General Mobilization and Development Association in Bani Al-Siyagh, Inner Haima District, Sana'a Governorate, organized an evening to celebrate the Prophet's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by the district's mobilization officer, Mukhtar Al-Siyaghi, as well as social figures and health and education personnel. During the event, the head of the Development Association, Hashim Al-Shami, reviewed highlights from the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). He emphasized the importance of emulating the Prophet's character, which includes compassion, cooperation, and social solidarity, and stressed the need for unity to confront adversaries.
Al-Shami urged attendance and active participation in the grand event scheduled for the twelfth of Rabi' al-Awwal in Al-Sabeen Square in the capital, Sana'a. He described this gathering as a demonstration of the historical and religious connection to the Prophet Muhammad, in gratitude for divine guidance, and as a stance against disbelievers and hypocrites.
The evening featured a number of executive leaders and included songs, poems, and praises of the Prophet from popular heritage, along with traditional Bara' dances.
