Sana'a: The President of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, sent a congratulatory message to the people, army, and resistance of brotherly Lebanon on the 20th anniversary of the victory in the 2006 July War.
According to Yemen News Agency, President Al-Mashat stated that the victory achieved by the army, people, and resistance represented a historic defeat for Israel and thwarted its plans to dominate the Middle East. He emphasized the importance of preserving the tripartite equation and maintaining the sources of strength, particularly the resistance, to safeguard Lebanon and its sovereignty from Israeli ambitions.
Al-Mashat warned against political efforts aimed at undermining the 'army, people, and resistance' equation, asserting that such actions would not benefit Lebanon or its stability. He urged Lebanon's political leadership to stay vigilant against these risks and to honor the sacrifices of the resistance and Lebanese army martyrs.
In his concluding remarks, Al-Mashat expressed his wishes for Lebanon's success and steadfastness in its legitimate struggle, aiming to serve the interests of Lebanon and the region.
