Sanaa: His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, sent a message of condolence on the passing of scholar Ahmed Abdullah Ali Sharaf Al-Din, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association and Imam and preacher of the Grand Mosque in Shibam Kawkaban, at the age of over one hundred, after a life dedicated to service.
According to Yemen News Agency, in his message to the deceased's son, Colonel Abdul Salam Ahmed Sharaf Al-Din, President Al-Mashat praised the virtues of the late scholar and his role in teaching Islamic sciences and jurisprudence.
President Al-Mashat expressed his deepest condolences to the son of the deceased and to the entire Sharaf Al-Din family in Shibam Kawkaban, Al-Mahwit Governorate, praying to Allah Almighty to grant her His mercy, admit her to Paradise, and grant her family and loved ones patience and solace.
