Hodeida: The people of the Kashrab Al-Sharqi district in Al-Qanawis District in Hodeida Governorate organized a cultural and poetry evening to commemorate the Prophet's birthday, under the theme "At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah."
According to Yemen News Agency, the event featured a speech by the director of the directorate, Mohammed Al-Qawzi, who highlighted the importance of celebrating the Prophet's birthday as a means to strengthen the Yemeni people's connection to their religious identity. He emphasized that the Yemeni population has consistently remained loyal to the Great Prophet's teachings and his faith-based mission against the forces of injustice and arrogance.
The director further discussed the values imparted by the Noble Prophet, which empower the Yemeni people in their resistance against aggressors. He noted that this celebration serves as a source of strength for Yemenis in their ongoing struggles, particularly concerning the Palestinian cause.
Sheikh Ahmed Shuai, speaking on behalf of the scholars, elaborated on how the celebrations recall the Prophet's approach and his role in supporting the oppressed. He pointed out that Yemenis embody this legacy through their support for the Palestinian community in Gaza.
In a speech focused on general mobilization, Mohammed Jilan explained that the commemoration is part of a comprehensive mobilization project linking the present to the past. He affirmed that the Yemenis' fight against aggression is a continuation of Islam's initial battle against oppression and hegemony.
Community and cultural leaders, including Ayel Jubaili and Ali Attari, delivered speeches emphasizing that the widespread participation in the celebrations reflects the deep-rooted faith within the Yemeni conscience. They highlighted the practical application of the slogan "At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah," which transcends mere words and manifests in action and sacrifice.
The event was attended by Colonel Mohammed Qawza, Director of Security of the Directorate, along with several executive office directors and community leaders. The celebration featured poetry and hymns, adding a cultural dimension to the occasion.
