Raymah Governorate Initiates School Bag Distribution for Families of Martyrs

Sana'a: The General Authority for the Care of the Families of Martyrs and Missing Persons in Raymah governorate has launched a school bag distribution project for children of 'martyrs and missing persons,' coinciding with the start of the 1448 AH academic year.

According to Yemen News Agency, local officials at the launch ceremony emphasized the significance of the school bag project in alleviating the financial burden on families of the deceased and missing. The Secretary-General of the local council in the governorate, Hassan Al-Omari, along with mobilization official Mohammed al-Nahari, highlighted the necessity of coordinated efforts to support and care for the families and children of 'martyrs,' recognizing it as a duty in appreciation of their sacrifices.

In his remarks, the governorate's education sector official, Yaaish al-Dubaibi, underscored the importance of combining efforts to support these families and motivate children to pursue their education. Abdulilah Hamed, the director of the authority's branch in the governorate, noted that this initiative is part of the authority's broader programs aimed at providing care and support for the children of 'martyrs' and encouraging their continued schooling.
