Sanaa: The Leader of the Revolution, His Eminence Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, confirmed that military operations in the Red Sea have disrupted Umm al-Rashrash Port, causing significant economic losses to the Israeli entity.
According to Yemen News Agency, al-Houthi emphasized the strategic importance of these operations, highlighting the disruption of navigation through the Red Sea to the Bab al-Mandab and the Gulf of Aden. He stated that Yemeni naval operations have prevented ships violating the navigation ban, citing the targeting of a violating ship last Thursday, bringing the total to 228 ships impacted.
Al-Houthi reiterated Yemen's commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and opposing Israeli aggression, stating that Yemen's actions are rooted in religious and moral obligations. He described the Yemeni position as one of responsibility, rationality, and wisdom, emphasizing the sacrifices made in the path of God as accounted for and fruitful.
He discussed the ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza, noting the reliance on American support and the inaction of Arab and Islamic regimes. Al-Houthi highlighted the humanitarian crisis, including the targeting of civilians and the destruction of residential areas, while condemning the use of starvation as a tactic.
The Leader of the Revolution addressed the broader geopolitical context, criticizing the Trump administration's proposals and the complicity of certain Arab regimes. He warned against the normalization of relations with the Israeli entity and urged support for Palestinian resistance.
Al-Houthi also touched on international solidarity with Palestine, referencing protests and actions in countries such as Italy and Slovenia. He called for a mass demonstration in Yemen to support the Palestinian cause and oppose the Israeli aggression.
