Sanaa: The Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, has strongly condemned the repeated Zionist-American insults to the Holy Quran, labeling them as explicit demonstrations of hostility towards sacred principles and values. He emphasized that these actions reveal a deep-seated antagonism towards the divine message and noble morals.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Leader pointed out the Islamic world's failure to take a decisive stance against such insults as a significant dereliction of duty. He suggested that a formal and serious political and economic boycott by Islamic countries, as well as an economic boycott of American goods and those of countries supporting Zionist activities, could pressure the West to cease their actions.
The Leader stressed the importance of Muslims strengthening their relationship with the Holy Quran to achieve awareness and fulfill their sacred responsibilities. He highlighted the targeting of Muslims' connection to the Quran by Zionist Jews and their allies, urging Muslims to prioritize the Quran and immerse themselves in its teachings.
The Leader also acknowledged the Yemeni people's devotion to the Holy Quran, rooted in their faith-based identity. He noted their active opposition to the insults through demonstrations, cultural awareness campaigns, and economic boycotts. The Yemeni people have declared enmity towards the enemies of Islam and continue their path with unwavering resolve, relying on their faith.
In his statement, the Leader reiterated the importance of addressing the desecration of the Quran in events commemorating the Prophet's birthday and in public demonstrations, emphasizing the faith-based stance of the Yemeni people.
The statement concluded with a call for guidance and success, expressing strong opposition to American and Israeli actions and support for Islam.
