Sana'a: Sam Foundation for Radio and Television Broadcasting in Yemen has expressed strong condemnation of the ongoing U.S. and Israeli actions against Iran and the Israeli aggression towards Lebanon.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Foundation described these actions as grave crimes, highlighting the targeted assassinations of Iranian leaders as a violation of national sovereignty and international laws.
The Foundation extended condolences to the Iranian people over the assassination of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei. It emphasized that such acts would only strengthen the resolve of the Iranian people and the axis of jihad and resistance against hegemonic projects.
The statement criticized the attacks on media facilities in both countries, including the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting and the premises of Al-Manar TV and Al-Nour Radio in Beirut. It described these actions as attempts to silence resistance voices and a full-fledged war crime.
Sam Foundation acknowledged the role of Al-Manar TV and Al-Nour Radio as resistance-oriented media platforms advocating for causes like the Palestinian issue. It also highlighted the efforts of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting in defending the oppressed.
The Foundation expressed solidarity with the targeted media institutions and their staff, asserting that these attacks are attempts to undermine regional morale that will inevitably fail.
In conclusion, the Foundation called on the international community and human rights organizations to take urgent action against the aggression, hold perpetrators accountable, and end the policy of impunity. It reaffirmed that the targeting of leaders and media will not silence the truth, and the resistance will persist despite challenges.
