Sana'a: Sana'a International Airport resumed civilian flights today via Yemenia Airlines, following a ten-day hiatus due to a blatant Israeli attack. The first Yemenia Airlines flight, an Airbus 320, returned from Queen Alia International Airport in Jordan, carrying 138 passengers. The same plane departed Sana'a International Airport with approximately 144 passengers on board, bound for the Jordanian capital, Amman.
According to Yemen News Agency, the resumption of flights marks a significant development for travelers affected by the temporary suspension. The airport had halted operations in the wake of the attack, which disrupted travel plans for numerous passengers. The restoration of services is expected to facilitate movement and provide relief to those needing air travel between Yemen and Jordan.
The reopening of the airport for civilian flights underscores efforts to stabilize air travel in the region and ensure connectivity for passengers. Yemenia Airlines' operations will continue to play a crucial role in maintaining this link, as the airline services one of the key routes in the region.
