Sana’a Public Works: Tangible Efforts to Welcome Guests of Messenger of God

Sana'a: The Public Works Office in Sana'a governorate organized a campaign in districts at the main entrances to the governorate and the capital Sana'a. This initiative is part of preparations to welcome the guests of the Messenger of God, Muhammad.

According to Yemen News Agency, Engineer Mohammed Ashiyah, head of the Public Works Sector in the governorate, stated that field teams are working diligently to complete tasks in time for the occasion. Their efforts aim to organize and facilitate traffic flow for guests arriving from outside the capital Sana'a for the major celebratory event commemorating the birth of the Prophet Muhammad.

Ashiyah highlighted that the campaign involved decorating streets and lighting them in green, sweeping and leveling roads, and removing debris and dust. These efforts are intended to present the districts appropriately for the occasion, reflecting the reverence for the Prophet.

He emphasized the importance of embodying the Prophet's morals and behavior in practical life, stating that efforts have been mobilized to showcase the civilized appearance of the governorate. The work included the installation of 264 advertising billboards and light decorations at key locations such as Bait Baws Fort, Dar Salam, and pedestrian bridges.

The official explained the removal of 48 speed bumps from main roads in Bani Hashish, Bani Matar, and Hamdan. Street vendors, carts, and junk trucks were also relocated to designated markets. Routine maintenance was conducted, including roadbed sweeping and leveling, to prepare for the event.

He expressed gratitude for the support from the governorate's leadership and praised the field teams' efforts. Their work plays a crucial role in presenting the governorate in a manner befitting the status of the Prophet Muhammad.
