Sana'a: In an unprecedented display, millions of Yemenis poured into the capital Sana'a and various provinces today to mark their greatest festival: the anniversary of the birth of the noblest of God's creation, the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his pure family.
According to Yemen News Agency, in Sana'a, the masses flocked towards Al-Sabeen Square-the site of the largest celebration-where throngs continued to pour in for hours until the magnificent Muhammadan scene of one of the largest gatherings in the region, and indeed the world, was complete. Participants experienced a profound spiritual connection, overwhelmed with love and longing for the Prophet. Their voices rose in unison with prayers and salutations, echoing their reverence and devotion.
After much anticipation, the twelfth of Rabi' al-Awwal arrived, bringing joy and festivity-the greatest of days, when God sent His final Messenger as a mercy to the worlds, guiding humanity to salvation and success. The gathering reflected the majesty of the day in which God honored mankind with the best of creation, abolishing falsehood, and establishing justice.
As the scene reached its height, the Leader, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, appeared, offering greetings and thanks to the 'guests of the Messenger of God' for their powerful turnout and immense devotion. He described their presence as a crown upon the occasion.
By their massive participation, Yemenis today crowned their commemoration with the largest human gathering on earth, embodying the Prophet's words about them as the 'People of Faith and Wisdom.' They affirmed their pure hearts and deep love for the Messenger of God, remaining steadfast in his path of struggle, sacrifice, and defense of the Ummah.
The descendants of the Ansar demonstrated through these crowds their devotion, loyalty, and spiritual bond with the Seal of the Prophets, affirming their historic role as bearers of truth. The massive celebration also served as a reminder of the religious and moral responsibility toward the Palestinian people, who have faced starvation and genocide while Arab and Islamic regimes remain inactive.
At the same time, the Yemeni masses reminded the world of the unparalleled greatness of the Prophet Muhammad, who changed the course of history by eradicating darkness and breaking the chains of tyranny and oppression. The celebrations in Sana'a and other provinces reflected the depth of the Yemeni people's faith, their unity around their leadership, and their resilience on all fronts.
