Sana'a: The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted scattered rain across several governorates, accompanied by relatively cold to cold weather in the highlands over the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the center's weather bulletin indicates that rain is anticipated in the governorates of the Socotra Archipelago, Taiz, Ibb, Raymah, Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Hodeida, western Dhamar, and Sa'dah. This weather pattern may extend to parts of the highlands in the governorates of Dale'a, Lahj, and Abyan.
Relatively cold to cold weather is expected in the governorates of Dhamar, Sana'a, Amran, Saada, Al Bayda, and Ibb, as well as on the highlands of the governorates of Shabwah, Abyan, Lahj, Dale'a, Taiz, Raymah, Al Mahwit, and Hajjah. Minimum temperatures in these areas are projected to range between 3 and 10 degrees Celsius.
The center has issued warnings for citizens to avoid floodwaters in valleys and ravines and to refrain from staying in these areas during and after rainfall. Additionally, there are cautions regarding reduced horizontal visibility on roads and mountain slopes due to fog. The center also advises the elderly, children, and workers in the mountainous areas to be mindful of the relatively cold and chilly weather during the evening and morning hours.
