Sana'a: The Southern Movement Block, a signatory to Yemen's Peace and Partnership Agreement, extended its warmest Eid al-Adha congratulations to the Revolution Leader, President, Supreme Political Council members, Yemeni people, armed forces, and frontline fighters.
According to Yemen News Agency, the SMB highlighted that Eid arrives amidst widespread injustice and oppression by forces of tyranny, specifically naming America and Israel, and their allies, who are perpetrating war crimes and genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza. It asserted that this context validates Yemen's principled positions in supporting the Palestinians.
The statement underscored the responsibility of free and honorable people worldwide to confront these crimes. It framed Eid and the Hajj pilgrimage as a vital opportunity for Yemen and the broader nation to unify against challenges and conspiracies, emphasizing the need to not rely on the Security Council, international institutions, or certain regimes.
The statement also praised the Yemeni Armed Forces' operations and ongoing successes in imposing an air and sea blockade on the temporary Zionist entity, in support of Gaza and in response to Zionist-American aggression against Yemen.
